Ahmedabad was rattled with two tremors felt one after the other lasting almost 7 to 8 seconds on a usual Tuesday afternoon.
The magnitude of these tremors is not yet known, but it's apparent from the hundreds of people that are rushing out of my office building that it was nothing small or insignificant!
Epicientre was the India-Pak border.
Tremors were also felt in Jaipur and Delhi.
No reports of loss of life or damage to property has been reported till 4:55 pm.

There's nothing to worry, the epicenter is actually Pak-Iran border and the magnitude is 7.8 at a depth of 15 KM which is in southern Iran, there was not much of affect in India and Ahmedabad is completely safe this time.

Yes, there is nothing to worry as the epicenter is in Pak-Iran border. The magnitude felt was around 5.0 in Ahmedabad but will wait for the news for confirmation....
Jahan Jahan Pakistan ka naam aata hai vaha hamesha kuch gadbad hi hoti hai. Pak ki vajah se uske saare neighbours (India, Iran, Afghanistan) and even its most distant nation (USA) suffer karte hai, chahe vo natural (earthquake) ho ya manmade (boston bomb blast).
Thank GOD, not much of a demage, seeing the magnitude of 7.8 on Richter Scale.
